Over 100 years ago, dedicated employees at Peoria Tent & Awning in Illinois worked hard to ensure that both residential and commercial awnings in the area were attractive, affordable, and functional. In 2000, this dynamic company caught the eye of entrepreneur Breck Nelson. As the owner of an ornamental iron and fencing company (with 50+ years of success), Breck saw the awning company as a logical extension of his own business. Today, Kelley Companies continues to grow.

As Kelley Companies reached new heights, it became clear to Breck that the residential market he served wanted more.
